Robert P. Levy - ChairmanBorn on March 30, 1931, Robert Levy was raised and educated in Philadelphia. He graduated from William Penn Charter School in 1948, the University Of Pennsylvania College Of Fine Arts in 1952. He also attended the Harvard Business School Executive Course in 1977. Mr. Levy was past chairman of the Board of Atlantic City Racing Association. A longtime director of the Thoroughbred Racing Association, he was elected to serve as President of the TRA, a position he held from 1989 to 1991. He also serves on the board of Fasig-Tipton, a leading equine auction company and as Chairman of DRT Industries, Inc., a Philadelphia based organization involved in many phases of industry in the Delaware Valley. In addition, he was a consultant on the design, construction and operation of Sam Houston Park in Houston, Texas which was the first track to open in the state. Currently, Mr. Levy is on the board of Penn National Gaming, Inc. of Wyomissing, PA. Penn National, listed on NASDAQ, is a racing and gaming corporation that operates race tracks, off track betting facilities and multi faceted casinos. Mr. Levy is the owner of 1990 & 1991 Eclipse Award winning and champion sprinter Housebuster. In 1997, Eclipse Award winner Smoke Glacken was added to the list. Without a doubt, the highlight of the Levy family's racing enterprises was the success of their 1987 Belmont Stakes winner, Bet Twice. Trained by veteran horseman, W.A. "Jimmy" Croll, Bet Twice earned more than $3 million in a brilliant three year career. Mr. Levy is active in many charitable and civic endeavors in Philadelphia. He is presently Chairman of the Philadelphia Sports Congress, which attracts and manages major sporting events in the Philadelphia area including the Army Navy, Final Four and All Star games. He also holds a directorship with the Police Athletic League, was a 10 year Commissioner of the Fairmount Park Commission and a member of the Art Commission. In addition, he is a Lifetime Trustee of the University of Pennsylvania and a member of the Philadelphia chapter Past Presidents Organization. Mr. Levy was the first recipient of the Service to Youth Award from the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame. In 1977, Mr. Levy was presented with the Alumni Award of Merit from Penn Charter Alumni Society, in addition to the Jockey Agents Benevolent Association's Man of the Year. In 1979, he received the Distinguished American Award from the Pennsylvania chapter of National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame. In 1985, President Ronal Reagan appointed Mr. Levy as a new member to the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. During the summer of 1987, Mr. Levy was honored as the New Jersey Horse Benevolent Protection Association's Man of the Year. In 1988, he accepted the Philadelphia Police Athletic League's Man of the Year Award. In 1992, two more honors were bestowed upon Mr. Levy; in June, Pop Warner Little Scholar's Inc., honored Mr. Levy with their Gold Football Award for "distinguished service to youth in community and country", and in November, he was inducted into Police Athletic League Hall of Fame. In 1996, Mr. Levy was inducted into the University of Pennsylvania Tennis Hall of Fame. M. Jeffrey BranmanM. Jeffrey Branman, is a Managing Director of Hilco Consumer Capital LLC, a private equity firm focused on North American consumer products companies and brands. Prior to joining Hilco in March 2007, Mr. Branman was the President and owner of Interactive Commerce Partners LLC, a provider of financial advisory services to companies in the interactive commerce technology and content, merchandising, and direct marketing businesses. Mr. Branman founded Interactive Commerce Partners in March 2005. From April 2000 through March 2005, Mr. Branman served as President and founder of Interactive Technology Services, a subsidiary of Comcast Corporation, a developer, manager and operator of broadband cable networks. Interactive Technology Services served as financial advisor to Interactive Technology Holdings, LLC, a joint venture of Comcast Corporation and QVC, Inc. which made venture capital investments in interactive commerce technology and content companies. Portfolio companies, where Mr. Branman served on the board of directors, included GSI Commerce, Inc. [NASDAQ: GSIC], Commerce Technologies, Inc. and Scene7, Inc. From March 1996 to February 2000, Mr. Branman was Senior Vice President Corporate Development of Foot Locker, Inc., a retailer of athletic footwear and apparel, and additionally was Chief Executive Officer of FootLocker.com, the internet and direct marketing subsidiary of Foot Locker from October 1988 to February 2000. Mr. Branman currently serves on the board of directors of GSI Commerce. Anthony "Tony" Toohey - Chief Executive OfficerAnthony "Tony" Toohey, was appointed to the Board on August 29, 2008 and was appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer on September 9, 2008. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director and a Director of Ebet Limited (ASX: EBT). Mr Toohey is an accomplished senior executive in the club, entertainment and leisure industries, with a proven track record of success in increasing sustainable competitive advantage and creating a strong platform for continuing growth. His background includes General Management positions held at Wentworthville Leagues Club Ltd., Wests Leagues, Illawarra and Dee Why RSL Clubs in Australia. Ian JamesIan Raymond James, was appointed to the Board on September 9, 2008. He has also been a Director of Ebet Limited (ASX: EBT) since May 2007 and was a founding shareholder of Ebet Limited. Mr James is a former partner of Mallesons Stephen Jaques, a leading international commercial law firm that focused on advising major corporations and financial institutions. His commercial experience over the past 25 years has been gained in the Australian, United Kingdom, Hong Kong and other offshore markets. Kimberly P. SteinKimberly P. Stein, Esq., was appointed to the Board on October 9, 2008 and was appointed Vice President, Corporate and General Counsel on September 25, 2008. Ms. Stein joined Sona Mobile in March 2008 as General Counsel. Prior to joining Sona Mobile, Ms. Stein was a partner in the Las Vegas law firm of Flangas McMillan Law Group from July 2007 until February 2008. Ms. Stein joined the law firm of Flangas McMillan Law Group in January of 2004, after being an associate with Jolley, Urga, Wirth & Woodbury, another Las Vegas firm, which she joined in May of 2003 upon obtaining her law degree from Boston University School of Law. Ms. Stein has been a member of the State Bar of Nevada, Clark County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association, and has been admitted to the United States District Court, District of Nevada since 2003. Prior to entering law school, Ms. Stein had almost 10 years experience in the gaming industry through her experiences in banking, securities, finance, and operations. Ms. Stein worked for various companies, including Mikohn Gaming, Sun International Resorts, Casino Data Systems, Alliance Bally Gaming and First Interstate Bank of Nevada. A long-term Las Vegas resident, Ms. Stein earned her undergraduate degree in Finance and an MBA from UNLV. |
